Guided Walk Leader (Lost Woods of the Low Weald and Downs)
We are looking for volunteer Guided Walk Leaders to show visitors our wonderful woodlands, and to share with them the work that the Woodland Trust are doing to look after these vital habitats.
Are you a great communicator? Can you offer a friendly welcome? If you are a calm and confident communicator, who enjoys meeting people from a variety of backgrounds, this could be the role for you
Walks are developed by our Guided Walk Leaders with support from Woodland Trust staff. We are looking for people who enjoy researching and planning walks as well as leading them. Our walks are an important way for us to connect with our visitors, and our Guided Walk Leaders are ambassadors for the wider work that we do. We are also seeking people who would like to research local walks for the project.
For this role, you will need access to a phone, the internet and an email address, as well as suitable outdoor clothing for the site – including sturdy footwear. You will need to live within, or close to, the project area in Sussex.
