Event Volunteer (Lost Woods)

We are looking for Event Volunteers to share the Lost Woods of the Low Weald and Downs project at local events, and to inspire visitors at these events to support us. With a willingness to attend small scale or mass participation events, our Event Volunteers are friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about our cause. From offering craft activities to family visitors, to free tree giveaways, or chatting about our current projects, Event Volunteers are at the heart of our engagement activities.

For this role you will need access to a phone, the internet and an email address, as well as suitable outdoor clothing for the site – including sturdy footwear. You will also need to live within, or close to, the project area in Sussex.

Anyone under 18 applying for this role must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered as a Woodland Trust volunteer.
