Speaker (West Sussex)

Opportunity image

We are looking for volunteer Speakers to give talks to local community groups, spreading the word about the work that we do, and the ways in which the public can support us. Through their knowledge and enthusiasm, our Speakers are a key way for us to connect with the public. If you enjoy meeting people, have experience of public speaking, and want to make a difference for woods and trees this could be the volunteer role for you.

For this role, you will need access to a phone, a laptop, the internet, and an email address, as well as the ability to get to locations within an hour’s commuting distance, either by car or public transport.

To achieve our vision of a world where woods and trees thrive for people and nature, we need to better reflect society and the communities we work in. All people, no matter their background, identity, ability, or circumstance, should benefit from trees. People of colour and disabled people are currently under-represented across the environment and conservation sector. If you identify as a person of colour and/or disabled, we particularly encourage you to apply.

Please contact us to discuss any additional support or adjustments you may need to complete your application.
