Threat Detector (UK wide)

In this volunteering role, you'll be helping us detect threats in all areas of the UK by regularly monitoring the online planning register of your allocated Local Planning Authority for any planning applications that impact on ancient woodland or ancient and veteran trees. Full training will be provided in the form of background reading and a face-to-face training session. As part of your training, you will learn the basics of understanding planning applications, using various mapping systems and how to identify if an area of woodland is ancient or if it contains ancient and veteran trees.
