At the Woodland Trust we believe that young people should have a say in the future of their planet. We want to ensure that in future years the Woodland Trust resonates with young people and that young people feel they have a place in the organisation. In 2023, we launched our Youth Council which has 4 key goals:

  1. Contributing to Woodland Trust decision making and strategic thinking
  2. Raising awareness of the Woodland Trust, especially with youth audiences
  3. Advocating for young people’s voices in the wider conservation sector
  4. Building connections on the ground

This is a unique opportunity to receive training, deepen your knowledge of conservation, create a lasting network, gain valuable personal / professional skills, all while being supported along the way and hopefully having lots of fun and creating a lasting impact!
